Online Course Management
Continuing Education is required in many
professions and the cost of providing CEH is growing
daily, but we can perhaps offer you a solution if you
have a program that you would like to move to the online
platform.
In fact, we are seeking
opportunities to partner with individuals and
associations to develop and host community and
professional education programs using our Moodle
Platform online. As a course administrator, you
can administer your own class, or we can work with you
to handle that on your behalf. Payment options are
easy because the Moodle network will interface with
Paypal and automatically direct students back to their
class.
What is moodle?
Moodle
is an Open Source Course Management System
(CMS), also known as a Learning Management
System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment
(VLE). It has become very popular among
educators around the world as a tool for
creating online dynamic web sites for their
students. We provide a Moodle platform that is
tailored to each individual organization.
Focus on learning
The focus of the Moodle project is always on
giving educators the best tools to manage and
promote learning, but there are many ways to
use Moodle:
Moodle has features that allow it to
scale to very large deployments and hundreds
of thousands of students, yet it can also be
used for a primary school or an education
hobbyist.
Many institutions use it as their
platform to conduct fully online courses,
while some use it simply to augment
face-to-face courses (known as blended
learning)
Many of moodle users love to use the
many activity modules (such as Forums,
Wikis, Databases and so on) to build richly
collaborative communities of learning around
their subject matter (in the social
constructionist tradition), while others
prefer to use Moodle as a way to deliver
content to students and assess learning
using assignments or quizzes.
Moodle
Learning
Moodle makes
learning fun and interactive, students can
view class notes, do online tests and
discuss class topics, teachers can set
tests, post notes & evaluate student
performances online.
Collaboration between Students
Students can
talk about class topics in discussion
forums, publish their work online in their
blogs, collaborate on essays with classmates
through wikis, all via simple web
applications.
