MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT IS THE KEY
The Louisiana Private Investigator's
Association was founded in 1987 by volunteers who devoted their
energy to making it a professional association. However, by
early 2000, the workforce behind the association had all but
disappeared. People are just too busy to volunteer. Dues
invoices were late being mailed, and the problems were building.
A new Board decided that outsourcing the day to day membership
services would provide a solution for success.
We built a system to make that happen.
It started with a new web design that
included a back end database for membership. Members in good
standing are presented in an online Member's Directory.
Billing for Dues is also done from our database. We took over
the entire process of adding members to the association, entering
their application, sending them a Members Certificate, adding them
to a news group, and providing the board with reports so that they
could do what they do best. Rather than take care of
membership services, they took care of the professional goals of the
association. It's working! Members login and update
their own listing, view the financials, association news and more
from their Member's Services tab.
